“What time should I go live?” sounds like a simple scheduling question. It is not. A useful answer has to separate platform differences, day-of-week effects, time zones, and the difference between revenue per hour and total revenue.
This article presents a compact way to analyze those variables using an observational dataset covering Chaturbate, StripChat, and BongaCams from January 1, 2025 through July 27, 2026. The figures below are reported in Europe/Bucharest time (UTC+3), the time zone used in the source analysis.
The short answer
The strongest five-hour windows are not the same across platforms:
- Chaturbate: 04:00–09:00
- StripChat: 16:00–21:00
- BongaCams: 21:00–02:00
Across the three platforms, Saturday is the strongest day by average hourly revenue. That does not mean every creator should copy one universal timetable: the best window depends on where an audience is concentrated and on whether the metric is revenue per hour, viewers, or total session income.
Why a single “best time” is usually misleading
An hourly average hides at least three different questions:
- Which hours have the highest average revenue per hour?
- Which days have the highest average revenue per hour?
- Which schedule is sustainable for a person working a fixed number of days?
If these questions are mixed together, a recommendation can look precise while being operationally wrong. For example, an early-morning peak on one platform may overlap with an evening peak on another. A five-hour schedule can therefore be optimized by platform rather than by a generic “prime time” rule.
The analysis used average hourly revenue, not audience size. That makes the result useful for scheduling experiments, but it does not prove that the same hours maximize viewers, tips per viewer, retention, or long-term earnings.
What the comparison shows
The strongest hourly windows form three distinct patterns:

The gap between the best and weakest individual hours is wider: approximately +60% for Chaturbate, +58% for StripChat, and +145% for BongaCams. The last figure is especially sensitive to the smaller base and narrower range of the BongaCams series, so it should be treated as a signal for testing rather than a guaranteed uplift.
The day-level ranking is also consistent. On Chaturbate, the top three days by average hourly revenue were Saturday ($42,922/hour), Friday ($39,174/hour), and Sunday ($38,955/hour). On StripChat, the order was Saturday ($44,240/hour), Sunday ($42,478/hour), and Friday ($41,049/hour). BongaCams showed the same weekend-heavy pattern, with Saturday at $4,012/hour, Friday at $3,650/hour, and Sunday at $3,646/hour.
These are source-dataset averages, not an income promise for an individual channel. They should be read as relative differences within the same measurement period.
How to convert the data into a 5/2 schedule
A practical schedule can be built in four steps.
First, choose the platform before choosing the clock. StripChat’s strongest block is the late afternoon and evening, while Chaturbate’s is early morning and BongaCams’ is late evening into the night. A cross-platform schedule that ignores this will spend the same working hours in three different demand regimes.
Second, reserve the strongest days for the most valuable windows. Saturday, Friday, and Sunday are the most productive days in the comparison. If only five days are available, start with those three and add the next two days according to the platform’s weekday ranking.
Third, keep the window stable long enough to learn. Changing the time every day makes it hard to distinguish a real platform pattern from noise. A two- to four-week test with the same start time is more informative than a sequence of one-off “peak hour” experiments.
Fourth, record the right denominator. Revenue per hour is useful for comparing windows of equal length. For business planning, also keep total session revenue, hours worked, unique viewers, returning viewers, and the share of sessions that overlap with the selected window.
What this dataset can and cannot establish
The period is long enough to reveal recurring weekly patterns, but it is still observational. It cannot establish causality. A strong Saturday average might reflect audience availability, creator behavior, promotional activity, or a combination of factors.
The time-zone choice matters too. The source uses Europe/Bucharest (UTC+3). A creator or team working in another zone should convert the timetable before acting on it. A “04:00–09:00” block is a local-clock instruction, not a universal UTC rule.
Finally, platform shares should not be confused with hourly efficiency. In the same 2026 year-to-date snapshot, StripChat accounted for 51.4% of the combined revenue of the three platforms, Chaturbate 44.5%, and BongaCams 4.2%. That is a market-share observation for this dataset, not evidence that every account will perform better on the largest platform.
A better decision rule
The most defensible scheduling rule is simple: start with the platform-specific five-hour window, prioritize the top weekend days, then update the timetable using your own rolling results.
In practice, that means treating the published averages as a starting hypothesis. After each test period, compare the same metrics by platform and time block. Keep the window only if it improves the metric that actually matters to the operation—whether that is revenue per hour, total revenue per session, audience quality, or schedule stability.
The main lesson is not that one clock hour is magical. It is that peak-time analysis becomes useful when it is segmented by platform, expressed in one explicit time zone, and tested against a consistent denominator.
